Passenger side cooling fan not working

HELP ANYONE I have a 2010 G37 sedan I replaced the fan assembly and the passenger side fan does come on at anytime. Checked for power from the control module and their is power going to the fan when the AC is on but the fan isn’t starting I checked the fan before I installed it and it was working am I missing something. I used a test light to see that their was power to the fan?

Are you talking about the AC blower fan located behind the glove box? There's only one for the whole car. And I'm pretty sure the air ducts to the driver and passenger side split left and right after the duct shutoff valves (or whatever they're called). So the only way to have air flowing on the driver's side and not on the passenger's side is to manually shut off the air vents on the dashboard using the flow control at the bottom of each vent. For example, you can't individually control the foot or defrost vents, they always run "in stereo". Let me know if I'm misunderstanding your question.

I think OP is referring to the front radiator/ AC condenser fans...?

If so, OP, check this thread as it has the instructions to run IPDM/er self-test- which includes both front fans (fan motors, module, relay).

If not, disregard, clarify and advise...

D'OH! OK, that makes more sense. The two radiator cooling fans ... as shown in the Engine Cooling System FSM:
https://www.nicoclub.com/service-man...F2010%2FCO.pdf
Click "download a copy" below that main window.

I don't think those fans are meant to work independently, aren't they supposed to both come on at the same time? Though they are plugged into a "cooling fan control module"...

OK, I'll shut up now and wait for the OP to straighten us out.

Hello Everyone,
Hope someone found a solution. I had to bypass my fan module and relay. My IPDM test on fans was hit and miss. Replaced IPDM with hopes but fan test is still hit or miss. I have an 08 G37 with 160k miles. I now realize since I got the car w 80k miles the 2 fans had never worked I never heard them on high speed. Suspect a bad ground somewhere. Hope we can revive this topic.
Thanks
JB
