Z1 subframe collars won’t go in

I had bought subframe collars for my 07 g35s in hopes to fix my wheel hop. When I went to install it and after soaking the bushing. It was only about half way in and wouldn’t budge. I had with the rubber hammer, I’m not sure if this possible a common thing for the sedan or it my bushing are so bad. They didn’t look bad no serious cracking and didn’t look super dry. But they do have 198k on them.

I’ve read of people having issues getting these collars in. From what I see you have to keep rotating the collars till they clock properly with the space in the bushings and fall in.

Some grease would probably go a long way in helping them get into position.

Definitely gonna grease them next time I try. Didn’t think about rotating it!
