I need a new driver side actuator assembly. I am told the cable has stretched out and is causing the driver side door to not open from the outside but still opens from inside. Any recommendations where to buy the actuator and have it installed without going to the dealership?

 

Autozone for the actuator.
Maybe try a glass/windshield installation place for labor. Or you could try those custom audio/alarm shops. Honestly it's not super difficult, just time consuming. Youtube has a couple good DIY videos to help you if you decide to do it yourself. Any competent mechanic should be able to do this job.

 

I had to replace both driver-side actuators...I got them on eBay through 2 different part vendors. Some sell in pairs, so I have a passenger front still sitting here. Just a PIA breaking down the door panels/glass removal, but not technically difficult.
