Looking for a mechanic in Randolph NJ
Hello Everyone:
Please see my previous post: 09 G37X Sedan Inner Timing Cover Replacement
I am still in search of a reputable mechanic. I took the car to another local mechanic, but it was no use, he even proposed to take the car back to the dealership since "they do it all the time".
I live in Randolph NJ, Morris county. Can anyone suggest a good mechanic in the area who specialized in engine repair for Nissan/Infiniti?
I really appreciate the help, Thank you very much.

My advice would be to find a used engine. It's alot cheaper. Try to find a 2013 or above.
My guess is your mechanic did not want to touch the repair once he saw what it would take to do the replacement. I believe that it's something like 18 hours of labor possible less if they are a good mechanic.
And no the dealers 'dont do this repair all the time". It's not a simple repair like a Subaru EJ25 head gasket.
