While driving down the 401 (Canada Ontario Highway) a rock fell from a 18wheeler truck and smashed into my right side of my front bumper alongside my foglights. Was wondering if I would do better getting the oem bumper and replacing it or if going to a bodyshop would be a better idea.
You could try to pop that out yourself from behind. Heat it up with a heatgun or maybe some boiling water and just pop it out. If it were me, I would just pop it out myself and either try to sand and blend that paint in, or just order the bumper lip. Dosen't look bad enough to replace the entire bumper.
Most of the damage is on the part that you can cover with a lip, so that may be your cheapest solution. You will spend a fortune at a body shop fixing this, so easiest solution is as iCrap mentioned, pour some boiling hot water on it and pop it back out.
