G37 LS Swap?

Found out the engine got sludged up from past owner being an ape and now the car is perma limp.
Need a new engine and the only VQ37VHRs I can find are 90k+ miles and overpriced. Since I already need an engine, can anyone convince why I shouldn't just LS swap the mf?

What is 'overpriced' for a used VQ?

After the LS swap is all said and done, you will be easily looking at 10-15k+ (again, price is variable based on what exact engine you choose, what supporting mods you want, and if the labor is done by you). Take a look at https://www.lojkits.com/ for all your swap kit needs.

$1.2k average for a 70k mile VQ, found a couple under 50k for $950, but after hearing about the LS cost uh **** no

how much are the LS going for? I just ebay'd it and they're at least 2K. How does that make more sense than another VQ that's averaging 900 bux?

You're gonna have to find a way to mount the ****ing thing and then wire it. Sounds like an incomplete project in the making

Yeah if you compare the cost of an LS build (engine + work) to the cost of a VQ (engine alone)... that makes no sense.
