09 Gg37X, approx. 130K Miles. Coming home last night after driving for about 30 minutes off and on and about 2 miles from home the car bogged for a second and the accelerations stopped. Felt like i got tapped in the rear. I stepped on the gas and it was fine but a half mile later taking off from the light it did the same thing. It got worse as i got closer to home, as I could hear the engine revving but the acceleration was bogged down. I turned into my area and drove around the residential streets. I could hear the engine but no acceleration. i shifted into DS and DS didn't show in the dashboard, the car seemed like it was in neutral. i seemed to coast home and parked. I came out later and DS showed when i shifted there. i drove to the corner and back, about 30 MPH and it seemed fine but it was cold by then. Hoping its not the transmission as i didn't go on the main road to see if he happened again.
I have had to replace the body control module a couple years ago as it got wet from a faulty windshield installation. Safelite paid for it twice as it went out. They replaced the windshield more times than i can remember from the leak. I still think there is a leak but i cant prove it to them. Any thoughts or hints before i take it in? Catalytic converter as it seemed to happen after the car was hot?
