Sedan Journey front lip... does it fit the SPORT bumper?

According to Infinti's parts site, part
K6010-1NF0A fits my 2013 SPORT sedan. But...that's the part number for the Journey lip.

What gives? Does the Journey lip fit the sport bumper?

The SPORT lip part number is K6010-1NH4A. Is the website in error?

Website has it mislabeled. From the PN not matching and judging by the models that it fits, this is the non-sport.

Yeah, that's what part mensch at Infinti said too.

Ah well. I may hold off on buying a lip for now.

That's one of my future mods as well. I haven't found any for the non-sport that I've really liked either. I have found a few different rear trunk lid spoilers that I really like that I keep eye balling. But I'm gonna wait until I can either get some lowering springs or coilovers so the look comes together better.

I hear ya.

I think that it would look really nice even with the stock height and wheels. But, my issue is that I'm not sure this is the car for me lol.

It might be for sale in a few months. We'll see.

If I end up keeping it...
-Lip
-19's of some sort
-Summer tyres on said 19's

The bumpers are very clearly not the same. Can't imagine why the front lips would be interchangeable.

what is it that you’re not liking about your G? I know I have some gripes about mine but I had a coupe before my sedan and I keep comparing it to the coupe.

Man, I think I'll likely get flamed for being so weak....

Alright...there are some things that I did kind of know before buying the car..
Like, the MPG. I can read the EPA estimates. Unfortunately, despite any reasonable efforts, I'm getting a mixed highway/suburbs average of like 20-22MPG.
I have about an 80 mile round trip commute. My fault, yes. And it's not a question of affordability or anything of that sort. But more a question of logic. Why TF does the MPG need to be this bad? V6 Acuras that have like 25 less HP get IMMENSELY better MPG.

The MPG I can sometimes overlook...because the car is genuinely fun to drive and I have learned to really like the shifter and clutch. Weird, right?!
I love the car's engine and chassis and brakes. They did an excellent job.

BUT...the first word in "driver's car" is DRIVER('s)
Why TF are the cupholders so bad?!!! This is not something I like...look for before I buy a car. I just assume that a car the size of a yacht will have usable cupholders.
I operate them for the first time and it blows my head off how bad they are. To add insult to the scalding burns I got from my coffee...some jackass decided that instead of making more cup room, a better use of the space would be to make a 1" wide strip of velvet (?!!!) that leads up to be a coin holder big enough for 4 coins. The only thing I can buy with 4 coins is a drink small enough to fit in the stupid cupholder. Am I just being centric? Is there a denomination of Yen that's worth it's space in that stupid coin holder??

I'll put it into the craziest terms you will hear in your life.
My S2000 has a larger and better cupholder.
German cars come with better cupholders.

Also....it snowed and I had to drive this car.
I look over and see a bunch of ice on my wing mirror. "No problem", I think. I'll just turn on the mirror heaters.
I'm frantically looking all over the dash for mirror heaters.
Nope.
I'm not built to scrape snow off of anything.
I don't clean snow. I take enough of the snow from my windshield to make a small porthole....turn on every heated surface in the car.....and then I'm off.
I'll drive like a submariner until the rest of the snow blows off as god intended.

Now I have to scrape snow.
And my fu@$ing coffee has to sit on the seat.

They could have also made a lot better use of the available space. The centre console and storage areas could be WAY bigger than they are.
Why is the passenger airbag light there? Any why TF is it big enough to see from space?? Who tf cares whether it's on or off? Turn that mother into a flip up storage area.

It's a sedan dammit.

#sorry for swearing. I was very upset about the heated mirrors today.

haha oh wow you sure had a lot to say. Sadly I agree with just about everything you said. I guess I just got used to it since my 2010 G37 coupe was the first car I owned 100% myself. I was really proud of the car and for one I don’t drink coffee so I didn’t rally care about the cup holders cause I usually have something in a bottle that seals like Sparkling Ice, pop, tea, etc... I could be wrong but I think the side mirrors are heated automatically.....? And yes 20-22mog hi way is pretty normal for these cars. Unfortunately the VQ engines are very thirsty and just chug fuel. I was lucky to get 18mpg with my coupe but I always drove that thing like it was stolen. Plus it had over 250k miles. My sedan with just over 100k miles gets about 20-22 hiway and I too have about an 80 mile round trip commute. I personally love the platform these cars are built on. Great engine, pretty decent suspension, good looking bodies, pretty decent sound systems, and still to this day for the price you can get these for they have about the best back up cameras I’ve seen.
So I understand where you’re coming from. I guess I’ve just gotten used to the flaws and ignore them. It’s not necessarily a bad thing that they bother you so much. You pay attention and know what you’re looking for. Good qualities I’d say. I do have to say that I think the good things these cars offer you far outweigh the flaws they have.

Lol yeah I  at my own complaining at times.

I think that this car is great as an exciting car to drive. The reliability and price is good. And it puts a smile on my face when I do a massive skid. I love the act of driving it. Its very satisfying.

However...I want something to soothe my old bones. Like...how tf does something with that has model name in the lineup called "Journey" have cupholders meant for...you know what....I'm not gonna get myself started up again.

The ultimate Japanese car (IMO) has Infinti doing the engine and chassis. Acura doing the interior and ergonomics. And Lexus doing the styling.

My semi-unique situation is that I already have cars that are non-compromised, and entirely performance oriented. I was hoping this car would do more of the boring stuff better. That's all.

Not trying to **** talk the car. Its great..and I can see why people really love them.

And for the heated mirrors they are usually activated by turning on the rear defrost. There isn't a separate switch.

Lol you guys are both like..."pretty sure" about these mirrors.

Where do y'all live? Florida? Cali?

I live in the center of hell RN.

As far as I can tell...the mirrors not heated, bruv.

BUT...I'll go be scientific about it. I can only be 99.9% sure I turned on the rear defrost.

I'll be 100% sure next time and observe and report.

I'm welcoming being proven wrong, actually.

You guys can either tell me how to operate the heated mirrors or tell me an address at Nissan that I can send an angry letter to.

In that case, I'll just 3D print something to try and fix this BS...

Your comment regarding mixed driving holds a lot more water than these cupholders do. Suburban driving is a lot of speeding up to 45-60mph...and stopping for lights. And repeat.

However...
On a non-stop (except for fillups and quick bathroom breaks every 5 or 6 hours) 15 hour highway drive I just did, it got like 23.7MPG with the cruise set between 65 and 80MPH depending on locale.

23.7....

Like...is there some over engineered Nissan system where the speed of the primary engine is regulated not by the throttle....but by a second engine that's fighting the first one? And I'm feeding fuel to both? Or?

Pretty sure the mirror defroster switch is right next to the button for the heated steering wheel.

Helluva rant you had there.

Like I said, the VQ engines are just very thirsty for gas. Also, your car being a manual has completely different cupholders than mine being an auto. I wasn't even thinking about that initially.

I know for a fact that the coupe I had before my sedan for sure had heated mirrors. Not 100% sure on the sedan. Only time I needed it was yesterday morning with the freezing rain that passed through (I'm in NE Indiana so I got the same crap you did being in IL.) I had the car running for at least half an hour and I was drenching all the windows and door handles with RainX De-Icer. All I know is when I went to drive the mirrors were clear of ice. Not sure if it was the de-icer or if they are heated. But I'd lean towards them being heated cause why would Infiniti change that from the coupe to sedan, both being X AWD models and only being 1 model year apart. I did still have to scrape all the windows but with the car running and the de-icer it flaked off since there was then a layer of water between the ice and windows. The fact that I still had to scrape the windows makes me believe the mirrors are heated as well because I never scraped them.
Possibly someone would know that has had a manual G sedan for an extended period of time would know if they're heated for sure or not. I don't know why it would be different just going between manual and auto, but there's a lot about Infiniti that I don't understand so I'll just leave it at that...

You might be right ab the mirrors. I know a lot of cars have the same circuit for mirrors/rear window defrost. But usually, there's a graphic telling you that both are operated in one.

Again...I'll try this out next time and hope that y'all are correct and that I'm just a dummy.
