And...yes, this does illustrate where all the fitment issues lie.

I posted this thread because I like the shape of the base model lip better than the Sport lip. And when I was looking at photos of the two lips and bumpers side by side, I thought, "well...they're definitely different shapes...but close...and Infiniti's site does state positive fitment".

Glad you posted. It fits badly then.

 

how much is the front lip on the site you posted?

 

It was on sale. like $245 or something

Hello!! If theres anyone out there that can help me , please! Where can I find the rubber clips that hood the front bumper together by the corners? 🙄 or what they are called? And IF not what can I do to help get my bumper to stay on ?

I would just google the PN I've listed above and find the best deal thru Infinti USA's website. That's how I found it.

The sale is expired...so...there's no link I can send.

The Infiniti parts web seems REALLY disorganised (or I'm just dumb). So its going to take some searching on your part.

BE CAREFUL and make sure with the dealer that you're getting a PAINTED part if that's what you want.

I ordered and paid for a painted Sport model lip.

Unknown to me (and the Infinti dealer I ordered from)...Infinti no longer produces the painted part.

The dealer shipped me a totally different part number than I ordered, without consulting with me. So I received a primered part.

I've had to involve Infinti to help resolve this. Its been 3+ weeks and a lot of really painful communication.

So...again....BE REALLY CAREFUL. Try to use a local dealer.

 

Dang that's rough, hopefully they take care of you.
It is not just you, Infiniti and Nissan OEM part sites are complete trash.

 

I'll let you guys know how/if Infiniti takes care of me and makes it right.

My only other option is to use my credit card company and file a discrepancy.
