low pro rain gaurds
I concur with the above statement. I like the look of WellVisors's window visors. They attach to the chrome and extend past the rear window which give it a sleeker look than Weathertech or the JDM ones. I've had mine on for 3-4 years now and have never had an issue with them. If you go this route, I would repaint the tiny clips they send with the visors. Mine have started to rust over the years. You can't notice it outside of the car, but when I'm driving I can see it. Not a big deal either way, I'm just nit-picky.
Also it's nearly impossible to black out the chrome on these, if you plan to black out the chrome around the windows. Something to keep in mind.

@FreightTrain can you post up pics please? may consider these, especially here in the summer rains, could come in handy etc, but i have seen other cars with visors and the look isnt that desirable etc...

One point is that you can leave your side window(s) down slightly to allow air circulation in an effort to reduce interior temperature within the car during the summer without the chance of an unexpected rain event resulting in a wet interior.
I find mine to be barely noticeable. Black car with tinted windows helps though. I like driving with a window cracked all the time and it keeps the snow out of the car since that's what I spend more of the year dealing with compared to rain.
agree ..here in Central frying pan FL, the summers are cooking and humid..and the added guessing game of pop up showers, so even though the showers cool down some, it also makes cracking your windows a role of the dice so to speak, so visors would not be a bad idea....but, yea agree with most, that they can look cheap..ish, not sure why, maybe its because growing up i only saw them in older cars with smokers or something, not sure, but hey...that was then, so if they help in keeping the oven temp below searing flesh, then maybe worth a shot..as i think cracking the windows on those hot humid days would help a lot...still hoping @FreightTrain will post up pics of his ride with the Wellvisors for comparison against the weathertech ones etc...ultimately, to each his own i suppose and if it works for you, enjoy it ...
