Hello all,

I have a 2011 G37x and then license light lamp bracket was rusted to hell, basically broke in half when I touched it. I bought a new license light lamp bracket and tried to install it but the old screws are just going through the holes. Won't tighten at all. Did I miss something here? Were these screws held on by a lug nut?

Im pretty sure its riveted on, no? If you dont have a rivet gun you can just nut and bolt it.

 

There is a plastic nut (part number 01281-00111) that is on the upper left/right side of the licence plate opening.

 

The rivets are used to hold the license plate bracket to the bumper.
The licence plate lights are held in place with a metal bracket and 2 screws.

 

Would it be possible for someone to take a picture of their license light lamp bracket for me please? I can't find any through Google image search. I'm also not sure if the metal bracket goes under the plastic bumper holes, or if it goes over.
