Any Alternative to No Hole License Plate Bracket?

I was wonder if you guys have any alternative to the "No Hole License Plate Bracket" ? I was thinking if I can find something from home depot to screw into that tow hook and make my own "No Hole license plate" .

Any suggestion?

I'm not sure what bracket you're referring to, I have the Stillen system and have had zero problems with it.

Other people use Velcro to attach their license plates, others line the back of the plate with foam and ziptie it on.

Most of the No Hole use that giant screw to screw into the tow hook. What I am thinking is trying to find that screw from home depot and the rest is pretty easy.

I would just buy a tow hook, have a welding shop cut the hook off and weld on a bracket to mount a license plate.

yeah, that's what I was thinking haha. It cheaper than $80 No Hole bracket kit. I got a buddy that can cut and weld for me.

Exactly! You can get all the supplies you need and get the job done for less than half the cost.

I'll fab up a design and see if it's worth marketing (if anyone is interested in a tow hook front plate holder). No one wants to pay $80 for a bracket.

Be a rebel and skip the front plate entirely. No matter how you mount it to the front it looks like crap.

I used the factory mounting kit and mounted it slightly lower on the front bumper (no drilling). Take a look at the photo I provided within my 2013 album here on myg37. All I needed were longer screws and washers that attach through the lower grill. Looks good and is rock solid.

After driving for three years I'm contemplating buying a show n go. My front license plate has been so bent out of shape from people sucking at parking that it looks hideous anywhere I put it. Problem is filling in the holes...might have to go with a new bumper?

Anyone know approximate costs of filling in holes/refinishing a painting bumper?

If they hit the license plate (very common) and it is screwed into your front fascia, you also run the risk of cracking the fascia as well. My method looks stock and is pretty easy to implement. Even the guy who installed my clear bra said he was going to start telling others with the G to do the same.
