I don't if this happened before but I found it strange.

I have had a service engine soon light come on for the last couple of weeks. I scanned and the fault was PO456. I cleared the error but it kept coming back.

2 days ago, I had a flat tire and the tire was torn so I put on the spare until I was able to change into my winters.

A few minutes after my spare went on, the service engine soon disappeared and has not come back.

Is this normal?

 

That's an EVAP code. Absolutely nothing to do with the tire being changed, that's just a coincidence. That code can be anything but typically is a loose gas cap after filling up, or another vapor leak that's detected in the fuel system. The hoses on the charcoal canister occasionally come loose and can cause that code too.
