Good point Bull...I must say I'm leaning that way. Couple things tho...
The black rims are just gorgeous
The stockers there now could use a refinish
I'd probably get all 4 redone in silver, doubling the cost vs. putting the two to black.
I've seen Deeps car in person and it's pretty
I think what might set it apart is that I'm edging more towards a 'stock/stealth/classic/sport edition' look. I mean I did spend a chunk of my weekend switching my silver center consoles and dash for the african rosewood. (I LOVE the look of it, getting old). Silver stock rims would fit more with the classic feel it looks like I'm headed towards.
I suppose I could just get two done for in silver for now, to match up.
Oh yes, I want to use these for summer rims, they've got 4 varied depth snow tires on them, two worn out. I'll keep my stock rims with all seasons on them for winter, being and X they were pretty decent.
I have the same color G37 and have decided to powdercoat my OEM 19s a dark gunmetal gloss. I'll drop them off tomorrow and should have them on the car this weekend. I'll post pictures once its all said and done.

I've been driving it around since I posted, so about 3 weeks. The two silvers one side, two blacks the other. I've walked up to in on different sides and different places. I just came out from lunch today, saw a similar G37 from the corner of my eye with black rims and thought 'those black rims don't quite go'. I didn't realize it was my car.
Stock silver or close to it they will be (when I get around to it)
Your G is absolutely gorgeous!!! I'm super jealous cause I wanted your body color so bad when I was looking for my sedan, but I couldn't find one and settled for the smoky quartz.
I think it looks amazing with the black wheels! you have other black accents on the car so I don't see any issue with you having them all black. Why do you think it doesn't quite go..?? Just curious.
EDIT: I posted this before reading through the entire thread and got the cars mixed up. I know, shame on me... I could go either way, but I feel like if you got a few other black accents on the car, it would pull off the black wheels a lot better. The chrome around the windows and the headlights are what's throwing it off the most for me honestly. If you're not wanting to do all that, then probably stick with your idea of keeping the silver wheels.

Sorry, between spending some time with the new born and remodeling my garage things didn't pan out as quickly as I hoped. I took them to the powdercoater's and they wanted $650 for gunmetal so I decided to take on the project myself. Hoping I can drop them off for tire install tomorrow.
The color is darker than the KAD on my car which is the look I was going for. Should get a little more 'pop' once I polish them up.
DUDE I am in the same boat as you right now, ross!
I have the same color G, sport trim (RWD), no drop..
and I don't plan to drop it anytime soon. It may be one of my very last mods....
I have my eyes set on a particular wheel but I can't decide between titanium vs gloss black w/ machined lip to match the chrome trim that's on the car (window trim, logos, exhaust, etc)
I think both will look great, and I agree with what has been said previously. The silver / stock wheels look better on the car if you want to keep a more mature, elegant yet sporty style. But the black wheels give it a more modified look which I'm not sure I want, especially without getting a drop. Like Rochester said, black wheels makes the stock fender gap look even bigger.
Anyway, here are the two wheels I'm trying to decide between:
