Question about an intake system

I've been thinking about getting an aftermarket intake system and I'm leaning towards the Jim Wolf Technology intake, even though it doesn't make as much power as the Stillen and other cold air intakes, it does seem promising because of the way it's shaped and if a tune is thrown on top if it, I feel like it would make some serious gains. Also with the way it's made, it sounds better than others, and it's cheaper. What are your guys' opinions on the JWT intake?

If the one your are taking about the short ram air it is a waste on money.keep saving for a cold air or just leave it factory. I believe you will lose power with that system

Agree with Birdie, Any intake with it's filter exposed in the bay will loose power over stock.
Any intake moving the filters behind the front bumper will yield best results even the cheap DIY ones.

This has been proven physically on dyno's based on WHP and not manufacturer numbers.

Yep, save and go cold air. I mainly did intake for sound/looks and didn't really care about dyno numbers. Your butt dyno will feel better tthough. Are injen and stillen gen 3 still the go to CAI's?

Ok what about vqcarboncustoms cold air intake? It's not stllien or injen, but it is only $300 and it would still do the same thing correct?
