Need purchase Advice - G37s 6MT 2013

2013 G37s 6MT - 80k Miles
Clean title, no damage, 3 owners (1 lease)

Kinda stereotyping here, 2nd Owner purchased the vehicle at Beverly hills Infiniti, am I wrong to assume the lack of service records on their part=too rich to care and maintain? lol

Should I avoid this vehicle like the plague?

Car looks great, super stoked about this rare find...except...

1. Only 8 service records
7k -"Maintenance inspection completed"
GAAAPPPPPP
35k - Vehicle sold

41k -"Maintenance inspection completed"
50k- Vehicle Sold

53k- Oil+Filter changed (thank god)
58k -Oil+Filter changed
75k- Battery replaced

Bummed out, seems like a gamble. Your thoughts?

You did not mention the purchase price but my thought is to pay for a pre-purchase through inspection at a local Infiniti dealer. Use any serious deficiencies found to lower the purchase price.
How old/thickness of the tires?
Thickness mm of the brake pads?
Condition of the belts and hoses?
Air and cabin filters?
Good luck

Yes. People that are "too rich to care" aren't buying used G37s.

It was more likely an enthusiast who DIY the maintenance.

I appreciate the response guys
Purchase price is $12,900 +$400 Doc Fee
Just hoping it wasn't neglected. First 2 owners come from very affluent CA cities, so I assumed they could afford to get it serviced more often at Infiniti than just once (lot of assumption)

I'm gonna check with a local infiniti dealer, see how much they car for a PPI (I"m over 1700 Miles away)

I'd post links, but idk if I can. Car is listed on autotrader

edit:
This does worry me, car sat around for a long time while waiting to be sold

Headlights are badly faded, driver seat is crushed, leather is sketchy, no rear spoiler, no front lip, no midnight grille, no LED runners... so basic 6MT that spent a lot of time outdoors.

However, "basic" in the sense that the car wasn't loaded up with dealer installed add-ons. Otherwise, the 2013 6MT was the top of the line model, fully loaded.

First impressions are a car that was daily driven the typical 12K+ miles per year, by 3 different owners, without a lot of love. Worth $13,000? Yeah, probably. No salt damage, which is a plus. But is it worth buying sight unseen, without a mechanic's assessment, and shipping it cross country? IDK about that.

Haha immediately compared it to your build when I saw it without a spoiler, "Why does it look so ugly?" :Yuck I felt it looked ugly and something was off, didn't know it was missing the front lop/midnight grille

I may just pass and remain patient. I was going to fly out and drive it 1700 miles back to Chicago, but that does seem like a massive headache esp for missing cosmetic features that I was hoping for and moreover at least a DECENT service history...

It's not so much that the rear spoiler, front chin, midnight grill and LED lights are "missing", because they were all add-on options, and can certainly be added on at any time, according to whatever you want and are willing to pay after the fact. But it does make a better impressing seeing stuff like that on a used car, already baked in.

I could see flying cross country for a long road trip home. That's a fantastic adventure. However, something about this car makes me think it isn't special enough for that kind of expense in time and effort.

Back in 2012, I took the train from western NY to NYC, then drove home in my new G. But that was only 400 miles, no overnight, and train tickets are cheap. And insofar as being something special, the car only had 3,900 miles on it, so it was basically brand new. I think if you're willing to make the effort to fly & drive around the country, do it for something that keeps you up at night because you're excited and confident, not because you're nervous and worried.

I did feel a little apprehensive about all this, honestly glad I'm choosing to sit this one out. Patience will bring me my G

Patience is definitely key. G37's are dime-a-dozen in the Chicago and surrounding areas. I had no choice in the matter and had to find a new car after my G was totaled and I found a very good example for a good price. But that being said, I was literally looking every waking second on every possible platform to find something. And if you have ANY 2nd thoughts, bad feelings, or anything that's rubbing you the wrong way, don't get it. No car is perfect, especially with G's being at least 5 years discontinued, and that's even including when they were calling it the Q60. You sound dead set on getting a prime example of a G37, so do your research and take advantage of having time to pick and choose. When you find "the one" you'll know it. You won't be able to think straight until you're driving home with it lol

Haha, it's true. I can relate, I'm searching every platform multiple times a day :| I'm just hoping I land the one before summers end

G37's are a dime-a-dozen. 6MT sedans, not so much.
