Just did a transmission fluid change at 200,000 km (~120k miles)
First post so not really sure where to put this.
I've been researching so much about transmission fluid change vs flush and the problems that they may cause. I decided to bite the bullet and go for the change and I am glad I did. I've had the car for 50,000 kms and I've never felt it shift this smoothly in my life. That alongside bleeding my brakes and changing the transfer case and diff fluids makes this car run like a dream. According to the guys that did the job, the tranny fluid didn't look terrible and didn't have many shavings sitting in the transmission oil pan.
I don't think this service has ever been done on the car so we'll see if I killed my tranny or not over the coming months.
I did this in Southern Ontario. The shop charged $300 for tranny fluid change, transfer case fluid, and front diff fluid change (i provided the gear oil for front diff).

They actually overcharged you on the trans change since they only needed 7 quarts. A full exchange could use double that amount and would still go for around the same price.

$260 Canadian is about $195 US. PLUS just about everything is more expensive in Canada even with the currency exchange factored in.
