I'm also currently in the market for a mid-pipe for the [AWD] sedan, and it seems that no company actually sells one separately from their full cat-back or y-back systems. I'm planning on just getting a Tanabe mid-pipe (made for the coupe) and getting the flanges cut for mating to my Tanabe Medallion axle-back mufflers.

You can do something like that with the Tanabe coupe mid-pipe (or any aftermarket coupe mid-pipe) or search for someone willing to sell you just their mid-pipe from their full system. Or you can have a custom mid-pipe (and supply your own Vibrant 12" or 18" resonators) made for you by any local/reputable dedicated exhaust shop.
