Went to go tune my car but as they were about to flash the base map it wouldn't let them because of a passcode. Does anyone know why this is?

 

UpRev, EcuTek or other?
Are you the original owner?
My guess is you are not, the previous owner had it tuned, and the tuner locked the tune and the ECU.

I think a factory flash will restore the ECU and you can then add your tune.

 

I ended up going to the GOAT Admin he told me to go with ecutek and he’s sending me the uprev cable to go back to fully stock and then we’re doing ecutek.

And I’m the third owner the previous owner was a granny. So definitely the first owner did something to the car 😂. I got the car with 123000km bone stock or at least what I thought was bone stock.
