I have a 2015 Q40 in Graphite Shadow (KAD), and I've been looking for an OEM 2007-era rear deck wing. There are plenty out there in the salvage yards, and I'm trying to find one in the same color as my car. However, the paint codes and names are different. The 2007-era name and code is: Platinum Graphite K51. This paint appears to look very similar to my color, which is Graphite Shadow KAD. I was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with both colors to confirm whether they are essentially the same? Or, if there is a noticeable difference? My intention is to pick up an OEM rear deck wing from a salvage yard in the Platinum Graphite K51, and use it on my KAD Q40. This way, I can save $$ and not have to get it repainted. Also, I would assume I have the connector for the spoiler brake light, incorporated in the trunk wiring harness of the Q40??
