My 6MT Sedan will be the last Infiniti that I ever own. I haven't changed, it was the brand. The brand left me years ago.
Maybe Nissan's next Z car will pique my interest, but their luxury brand does nothing for me anymore.

makes me wonder if there is going to be a new reveal of the next GTR and it will have the giant V like this G50 and the Altima so they're just looking at the future design language...but more than likely its just some marketing BS and they don't want to say that their luxury car looks more like their regular line of cars now

Yikes hopefully the floating roof dies a fast death... not a fan of the Altima-like grill. Perhaps it’d look better if it were blacked out. I love my G coupe and it’s styling, I also really like my Q50. Not a fan of this new look though. I am interested in what they’re doing with the hybrid they mention, specifically what engine they’re using. They were using the 3.5 which combined for 360hp and I love the instant torque. Always thought the VR coupled with electric motors would yield awesome potential. Infiniti and Renault started to show this with Project Black S. Done right you get looks, power, and good mpg.

I don't know about a mid 80's GM --- it'll at least drive in a straight line. You're not wrong about the lack of feedback and steering with 1 finger though. I love the driving experience of the G way more than the Q, with the exception of family road trips... just did 450 miles today, it was comfortable, roomy, and the nannies are useful on the long boring stretches as it'll basically drive itself, and the 34.5mpg isn't bad considering I spent probably 2 hours in traffic throughout the trip. Its also nice to be able to roast the occasional Mustang with my daughter playing with her kindle in the back seat, my wife reading a book, and our Yorkie watching out the window...

Maybe I can keep the G going until my kiddo is driving herself, and then get a Miata hardtop or BRZ.
