Thank you guys for creating such a wonderful community for G37 owners. It's time for me to move on. After having water leaks in my passenger side and the need for a SUV, I decided to trade in my G37 last week.
Yeah tons of buttons, but I'm getting used to them. The Acura has way more features than I'm used to. It practically almost drives itself with very limited input from me.
I must be old school. Gearshift or bust here I've succumb to the fact the next vehicle will likely not be an MT, but still can't wrap my head around prndl buttons. I always wonder, if the parking brake is set and battery is dead, requiring a tow, how's the parking brake get unset?
There's a button to set/unset the parking brake. I believe a lot of new cars are like that nowadays. The steering wheel does have paddle shifters haha.
More space, primarily. I'll be doing a lot of moving around in the next year. I've been also driving my girlfriend's Rav4 a lot and I enjoy sitting higher up while driving.

It's an electronic parking brake though, so if the battery is dead, it won't be as easy as pushing the button. I have a 2018 Odyssey with the same set up and carry a portable jump starter since I'm not sure how I would get the parking brake off or get the vehicle into neutral since there is no "shift lock" button to press.
^^Thanks.. That's what I was getting at. Our accord (2015) still has the actual parking lever and shifter. It's the MY just before the accord refresh in 2016. Car has minimal tech (just the stereo), and annoying driver assist thing that makes noise if it thinks i'm too close to the vehicle in front. The cvt took some getting used to but it's much better than the nissan altima we were looking at. Specs say the mdx in fwd/awd comes with a 9 speed auto, so no cvt bs to deal with. 3.5L 6 cyl, 290hp, 267 ft lb.. Respectable. Heavy beast though 4000+ lb, more if awd. Won't be railing any corners in that thing.
