Yeah
I don't think I'm going to install it
Probably sell it
May wrap the roof
Give it another look
Then decide

Good idea. Spoiler or roof wrapped in black or carbon fiber might be the trick. If you decide to sell. Let me know.

Same color car as you but everything chrome is blacked out with wrap. As is I can definitely feel where you are coming from on it looking weird. If you added more black I think it would fit in perfectly since now I feel my rear has too much silver.

I like the look of it, I’ve been eyeing that diffuser myself and will probably make the move soon. My sedans a blue slate with all the chrome wrapped in gloss black.

Now I’m just deciding if I want it in carbon fiber, gloss black or color matched

I finally got the roof wrapped and installed the diffuser.
The black roof does help tie in the black diffuser a bit.
Its not a seamless addition and doe look slightly out of place but, looking back on photos without it now seems like something is missing

You're right about the gloss black in the roof wrap tying into the diffuser, better both than just one or the other.

And having the OEM trunk spoiler creates a large sight-line and shadow which helps too.

But mostly it's those pretty exhaust tips that makes me think it looks better than otherwise.

The gloss on the diffuser is more "glossy" than the gloss on the roof.
This excess gloss is part of why the diffuser gives off a cheap add on vibe.
There are generally no OEM diffusers this glossy. I dont think anyway...

I am having the shop wrap the difuser to match the roof. I think that will help even more make it feel like it belongs...
Ill post some photos when done.

Those mufflers are only axleback. I am researching a full exhaust system now but the options...are so overwhelming at this point... need to read more and more and more...

Good for you going for the details.

How much was the roof wrap professionally installed?

And did you buy the OEM black sharkfin?

Details is where its at.
Everything looks good from 10ft away.
I love when the look stays impressive with up close inspection.
Thats why I need 2 piece rotors.

I paid $250 for the roof at a reputable business.
But i am not happy with the finish. See pics below.
They are going to redo the roof. But they suggested wrapping over the first existing layer to ensure a very nice finish.
Sounds a bit fishy to me, but I need to research.

The shark fin is simply plasti dip coated.
I did not want them disassembling things.
I am moderately happy with the way that looks.

In full disclosure of ignorance on the topic... that doesn't look right at all. It's like the vinyl has a dimpled texture, which is fine for a golf ball I suppose. And then all the little bubbles and wrinkles. And the rubbery flat black shark fin.

Like you said, it looks just fine in these first pics... from 10 feet away.
