2012 G37 Sedan - Missing Mirror Cap
Will be a year in June since I was last here. Just love this 2012 but living in a metro area seems not good for it.. Why would someone pry off the back cover of side view mirror driver's side? Now wires are all exposed and it's snowing. What to do? Can I order replacement part just the back housing and pop it back in? Appreciate your help.
Try here:
https://www.infinitipartsusa.com/201...are-s/1825.htm
Click on "Front Door > Outside Mirrors" and choose the one for your car (sedan or coupe, then left or right). I believe the cover is held in place by "pawls" so you should be able to snap on a replacement. However these are probably unpainted.
Once you find the part number from that site, you could also search ebay. There you may find a used one - or a complete mirror - in your paint color...

Thank you for your response. Is the replacement part universal i.e. good for all G37 (journey, sport, etc) because when I filtered down to G37-X, the parts list does not show. Also, when I selected the part #, G37 Journey is highlighted. Would that part work for the G37-X?
Looks like it's the same part number for the X. At the top of that page you see the path:
"Home > Factory OEM Infiniti Parts > 2012 > G37 > G37 - Journey > Body Hardware"
Click on "G37" to go backwards and chose your model, then "Body Hardware", then "Front Door > Outside Mirror (Sedan or Coupe)" then "Left (or Right) Mirror Cover"
"Home > Factory OEM Infiniti Parts > 2012 > G37 > G37 - Journey > Body Hardware"
