Car wont start

I was hoping someone could help me out my car wont start has an key light on my dash first time ever seeing it before anyone knows how remove it or what its dealing with

Do you have a spare key?

Maybe your's is out of battery juice.

No spare key but my key still works far as unlocking doors and stuff that nature but the key battery is dying

Get a battery for your key then.

Also, get a spare made ASAP! Not sure where to get them. Dealer? Ebay/Amazon?


You'll be screwed if you lost your one and only key.

To the OP, try sticking the key in the fob receptacle?

Google Infiniti G37 or Nissan 370Z steering lock/immobiliser, I’d guess that’s what your problem is.
There are some videos on YouTube of how you may hopefully get the car you start, if you succeed follow the excellent tutorials on how to pull the fuse to stop a reoccurrence

Put the key in the fob hole under your trunk release/VSC/sonar switches above your left knee. If that works go get a new battery in your fob.

Dont freak the dude out by diagnosing stage 3 cancer when it could be a stubbed toe.

one of the first things i did when i got my car is look through the owners manual. dont have one? then download it .
