Ran over a block

Does anyone know if it's better to change my front subframe or try to get it repaired

I'm not expert, but I'd probably just have that replaced for peace of mind.

Yeah, you are not repairing that easily. Repair would likely be more than a replacement.

How in the hell do you expect to get that repaired?

that's like having a tire blow out on the highway and taking it to a shop and asking them to plug & patch your blown up tire.

replace it. Your cat and transmission pan is damaged too. Go aftermarket or find a used oem cat.

For sure the passenger side cat heat shield is dented. Maybe the cat casing itself isn't? OP, it would be quite costly to find someone who would weld up that cast aluminum piece. You're better of replacing it with one scavenged from a junkyard.

I agree on the cat. If it's not throwing a code then he's prob fine and it's just the heat shield.

OP, do you not have insurance on the car? Depending on your deductible you may be better off just going through insurance.

What kind of block did you run over?? A brick maybe? I hope you're not driving the car until this gets repaired!
