G37S vLSD install on journey sedan auto

I just got a,2010 G37S lsd for my journey 2013 sedan from eBay..$265.. I'm planning on doing with a buddy when it gets here. Any thoughts what else to replace? Bushings, should I try a basic rebuild kit? Tips? I really can't wait to lay my newly acquired horsepower to the ground without breaking anything? Thanks in advance

Where are you getting "newly acquired horsepower" from?

You might need to swap the axle stubs.

I went from stock 3.3fd v-lsd to 3.69fd v-lsd and had to swap axle stubs. The flanges were different.

A 2010 sport differential is the same 3.3 FD as your stock 2013 journey unless you got a manual one. I don't understand what you mean by new horsepower..

2010+ are all 7AT which came with 3.3 FD.

I think what he's saying is he recently modded his car with power adds, and wants better control on getting it to the pavement... not that he expects HP gains from a LSD.

Yes my mods are ADMINTUNING intakes, Stillen Catback exhaust and Uprev tune. 323whp after the time on 95F day here in Houston. It was cool yesterday and could not hook up when trying to lay down some 1/4 Mile times. So I'm upgrading my open diff to avlsd from 37s auto. I also bought a rebuild kit for seals, bearings on the one I bought from ebay

impressive numbers. Any plans for high flow cats or cat deletes? Are those numbers from a actual dyno or is that a e-dyno?

did you go to moncef to get it tuned or did you do remote tuning?

Looking at that graph, you really need to live over 5K in order to feel those gains. Interesting.

if it's not on your list, definitely install a whiteline rear diff bushing.it will help with wheel hop and also not blow up like the stock fluid filled bushing. I did the same swap but my diff had 3.9 ratio. if you have the coin, I would ditch the vlsd and go with another lsd like a quaife. stock vlsd wears out pretty quickly especially if you are hard on it, for example, drag racing.
