2008/2009 G35/37 Sport Lip Options

What options are out there? Been trying to find some and they seem like there all for the journey. Oem one looks great but I’m definitely not paying $300+ for something that I might mess up. (Planning to lower my car) maybe I just suck at researching but please someone enlighten me.

You and I are in the same boat my friend. AFAIK there are not many options for us sport lip guys, and even less for 1st Gens. You could go the OEM route, but you'd have to order from a dealer or parts website and would likely pay $300+, as far as I know there aren't any other viable options. Even the front splitters with rods are usually better off when pitted against some form of lip.

There really aren't any options, I wish I could be more help!

no worries bro, appreciate the reply....... and you’ve read my mind about the splitters I was looking into that but also but was thinking it just wouldn’t look right if the car didn’t have a lip.

There's honestly nothing cheap for that bumper, when I had mine I was lucky to find the oem sport lip. Those are harder to find now, besides that the options are slim. you can take a journey lip and retro fit it but that involves shaving the ends of the bumper a bit. Impul makes a half bumper front lip for it. Access Evolution makes one in Japan but that will run you easily $1500 or more shipped. Blacktop aero made a rep of the ken style lip as well. Those are about all the options out there for that bumper

OP,

I just realized there is always CarbonSignal (if they are still a thing anymore). It looks like both the Spec IN and Spec M front lips will fit the sport bumper without having the factory sport chin spoiler. From what I remember, they were around $3xx and were carbon fiber. I might go this route.

I almost forgot about them, they are still around but shipping outta dubai uae is expensive. I looked at a few items from them and shipping was crazy I was thinking about the rear diffuser and emblemless grill they do.
