slight stumble, limp mode

Hey all! I use my sedan the past year for ridesharing and put 40 thousand on the car over the last year, it has held out great running 10-12 hours daily. hardly uses any gas at idle (sometimes it has idled for 2 hours) . over the last few months, it thru the mass air vcdriver side code. so i went and got a new sensor, replaced and code went away. then 2 weeks later came back. so took it to dealer. and they said my vin was not a part of the recall of this problem and that there was a connector that needed fixed. so they fixed it and cleared the code. well, 2 hundred miles later (i drive about 150-200 miles daily) . the car goes into limp mode at intermittent times now, without throwing the service engine soon light. so i pull over, restart it, and it will go away for awhile. car has 139k on it, so maybe since its not throwing a code, i wonder if its fuel system related, as I read these fuel filters are in the tank and need to take to mechanic and spend big money replacing a part that cost less that 20. I was wondering maybe a dirty fuel filter could cause a limp mode condition and not trigger the service engine soon light . thanks for advice!

The fuel pump, from what I understand, is right under the back seat. I might be wrong, I am new to these cars.

The access port on top of the gas tank for the fuel pump is under the back seat.
