Im 18 and from NY and I recently made a purchase of a 2013 G37 Black Sedan with roughly 35,000 miles. I’ve been looking into the car for exterior and interior mods and I’ve decided I would like to first change my grille. I’ve seen many images of a black grille with a chrome border and chromie emblem and I like it. I was wondering if anyone knew any good websites besides carid for g37 grilles
I would like to find and make the grille exactly like this.
In addition, I will be looking to get black rims. However, I really like the stock rims so I am unsure if i should get them powercoated, plastidipped, or some sort of paint?
If wheels are in good shape I'd look into powdercoating, and a gunmetal shade goes real well on black Gs. I'd consider just painting the inner grill slats, the chrome emblem can be removed, so you can just reinstall it after painting.
Do you have pics of your G w/ your current wheels?
I paid a body shop $150 to paint my grille gloss black. The car you posted has the optional OE midnight black grille. It would probably be a little cheaper to have the grille painted.
