Just brought a used g37 and I've got some questions

Hello ,
i just bought a used g37 with 89k miles i did some pre purchase inspection and it was all good ,
i used my obd 2 scanner and no errors found and I'm happy with my purchase so far ,
The car needs some maintenance like disk roters and break pads and a new set of tiers ,
So here are my questions ,
What is the best oil to use with my G37 (my foot is little bit heavy on the pedal)
Can i put 2005 FX 35 roters on my g37 journy ?
I need to replace the spirnal cord can i get it from a flooded car (will it work)

I live in a country that has no infinitior nissan dealers so i have to use flooded cars for parts anyway I'm happy witg the car and i got it for like 3500 $

I use Pennzoil Platinum and it works very well with a mobile 1 filter. 5w-30. Other's here use Mobil 1 oil and filters. So far no issues whatsoever with 77k miles on the odo.

Welcome to the site, agree w/ Helikido, have good results using Pennzoil Platinum.
BTW, what country are you in, and $3500, how much in American dollars, sounds like a great deal!

I believe the front rotors will work. I looked on RockAuto and 2005 FX35 and 2009 G37 use the same rotors. There is a cut off date on the FX35, so take some time to look up the parts car and your car to compare part numbers.

I have always just used whatever oil the local shop is using. Nothing special. I think the frequency of oil changes is far more important the brand of oil you use. Also, be sure to use the correct recommended weight for the car.

Thanks guys yeah infiniti brand doesn't have a good reputation in my country so people tend to avoid them ,
plus that we have no local infinti or nissan dealers here ,
Anyway I'm enjoying every minute driving my G37 , it has some problems but they are all fixable (transmission flare from 4th to 5th) (driver seat not fully functional) ( new rear tiers ) (emergency break fix) and a horn and cruse/sound control cord , not major problems i ll be fixing them one by one , just another question what are the recommended battery for thr g37 ? Im going to buy a new new one tomorrow, thanks everyone for your help .
