autobody guy estimated 3300 for this damage ..

Any recommendations? He states he cannot fix the door.. It need to be replaced.



Someone reversed into my car while I was exiting parking lot.

Doesnt look like it’s just the door...you can try to find a salvaged/totaled G and grab parts from it. Then it might just be paint. The other driver’s Insurance covering this?

Other party's insurance is covering it.

Sounds right. Replace door and minimal qp work with paint. 3300 is good.

Did they hit your tire/wheel also?

Maybe it's just the picture but it looks like the passenger rear wheel is toe-d in. If they did hit the wheel than it's possible that other parts were bent. You won't know for certain unless you get your vehicle on a alignment rack.

From factory you are able to correct the toe in the rears to a certain degree, but camber isn't adjustable at all.

Does the car drive a little differently?

If they did have contact with the wheel, make sure they replace the hub. Same thing happened to me, couple months after the accident, the hub went

Fortunately car is driving well. I mean no difference.
