2012 G37X Sedan NON BOSE Aftermarket Subs and Amp install HELP!
Just got a 2012 G37X Sedan with the non bose set up and was wondering if anyone has a write up on how to hook up aftermarket subs in the trunk (not a little small one like I've seen people hook up where the bose one would have been) with an amp. I'm looking to hook it up to the stock headunit and was wondering how to go about it.
Any help is appreciated. I'm new here!

Turns out there are no 6x9's in the rear lid behind the rear seats like most cars so you have to tap into the rear door speakers! Was a pain in the a** but got it to all work. The non bose set up has 6 speakers. 2 in each front door and 2 in the rear doors and thats it.
No it doesn't appear to have any sub at all! What a cheap system lol. I'm planning on changing all 6 speakers soon too just have to figure out the sizes for them all. Adding two 10" subs made a huge difference though. Now just at the top range for most songs it's a little distorted and not super clear so will fix it with new speakers. I know that's the cheap speakers coming through. Only having 6 and 2 being tweeters won't be overly expensive to replace and well worth it.

Just decided on alpine R series speakers. Will see how they sound with factory head unit. Should be nice and clear after that. Took off the door panels to see the speaker size since no one had an answer for me with the non bose set up and they are 6.5" in the front and rear doors with a tweeter in the front doors. No other speakers. The speakers are so cheap and crappy, super light and thin. No wonder they sound distorted and muffled.

Sorry for seeing this late but have you tried looking on crutchfield.com to get all your speaker sizes for your particular vehicle. You never know they may have a clearance sale for veterans day or even a black Friday special. Its free to look up all your dimensions and what else you can upgrade in the vehicle, I believe they have free install guides too. Good luck.
I got all my sizes by taking off the doors. The reason I posted them here now is for anyone in the future since no website including crutchfield and others gave accurate information. It said I had 6x9s lol and other smaller speakers when I dont so don't trust those sites. Not even the dealer could tell me what I had. So yep. Non bose has 2 sets of 6.5s and a tweeter up front.
