We just got in a 2013 Audi RS5 with a 450hp V8, AWD, Carbon Ceramic brakes, 20" wheels, Bang & Olufsen stereo, etc. with only 23k miles. Only 1,500 imported to the U.S. and probably a lot less with these options. So that would be fun...
Wrong transmission, but one hell of a ride. I think one of the IPL guys jumped ship to a RS5 and has a build thread in the other cars forum.
Just wanted to add to this thread. I'll be doing either an XKR-S or a Maserati GranTurismo. Obviously going used. But those will be immediate replacements. Might even consider a V12 Vantage with the 6 speed.
Not a replacement for our G but an addition. Just ordered a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport 2-door w/ S pkg. Will be delivered in Jan. at a Las Vegas dealer in time for my wife's b-day. Nice to have something a complete 180 from the G (although that might be a boat, lol). It's Sting-Gray in color and they even have a club just for that color and a cool logo, can't wait to pick it up!
You know, I love our 2018 Subaru Forester (in the body shop for rear end repair), and I love my G37 (out of commission because of a clutch problem)... but at the moment all we have is this low-mileage 2013 Sentra. And I would *LOVE* to replace it with something rewarding to drive. Anything, really. Anything that isn't a 2013 Sentra.
Yeah, it's going to be fun since there's so many ways to put your own touches on it, and cool that this was something my wife was wanting, so a win-win!
I've had a couple Jeep CJs before, amazing how refined and quiet they are now (especially w/ the hard top).
