G37 DRL Halos - Canadian
G37 DRL Halos - Canadian
Hi guys,
I have a Canadian G37XS Sedan. 2011. I will be doing the dual halo + RGB demon eye next weekend. I wanted to know if there was a way with the Canadian car to wire it so:
DRL: Just 2 halos, white. Nothing else.
Low Beam mode: lowbeams, turn signal white (switchbacks), parking light (so normal, as-is right now). Turn halos off.
Fogs: Low beam mode + fogs turn on.
Turn signal: 2 halos amber + switchback amber
The turn signal should be super simple as I can just splice that into the switchback bulb's turn signal cable. It's the halos as DRL and turning off lowbeams+DRL turn signal+parking that is giving me trouble in terms of figuring out.
Any suggestions? I am electrically inclined, I just don't know if its all very plug-and-play with a little splicing (which would be ideal) or if it needs software programming from a dealership.
Thanks!

Bumping, anyone in Canada (or US vehicle with DRLs) figure out a way to wire up the halos as DRLs? Seems like so far my only option is to pay a shop to do it, where they use relays to hook everything else up to fog lights and halos as DRLs?
