Leather Cracks - Warranty

Hey all,

Just curious if anyone knows offhand if the dealer will warranty cracks in my leather under warranty. I have some minor cracking in the leather on the driver side seat, the lower bolstering. I have little doubt that I could address the cracking with some potions available in the marketplace, but I still have B2B warranty on the car, so why waste my time. Anyway, just curious if anyone knows, thanks in advance.

I highly doubt it will be covered but doesn't hurt to ask. If the advisor is feeling nice and generous, there's always a way to help.

I owned 2 sedans and one coupe. I have had seats replaced on all of them because of some leather issue. my current 2012 year sedan which I finally decided to keep, got both front seats replaced.
I have average persuasive talking skills, you can do that too lol.

Great info. I have above average selling skills, so I will definitely be reaching out to them and having them addressed.

I had an issue where a POC had a tear (g35 2011) and under warranty and it's a known location for a tear - however no luck with replacement

I have a small tear in the back seat. I doubt they would do anything, esp with 166,695 on her.

So they are going to address it under warranty. After some discussion with the dealer, they decided to proceed with the repairs at no charge. I have a great local dealer who is always willing to help out.

Curious, do you have a picture of your seats and how they are cracking? I have about 51k miles on mine so I'd like to see if this is an issue with my seats as well and if I should take it to the dealer.
