So I finally got around to taking my car to the shop, and they tell me they don't do work on aftermarket HID lights. Weird, but okay. So I call the guy who installed my switchbacks, and he says he'll take a look at it. I should have called him to begin with, but he's 30 minutes away and my mechanic is right down the street. Anyway, he looks at the fuse for the fog lights and it's fine. Turns out the place that installed my fog lights (not him) ran the power directly to the battery and the power cable has it's own fuse. It was tucked underneath the terminal protector plastics so I didn't see it. Ugh. Check that fuse, it's good.

So he has to undo the fender liner to get to the bulbs, relay, etc. Checks the relay, that's not it. Goes to the other side of the car where the ground wire is, and that's loose. Dingledorf who installed it didn't have it tied down at all so it got jarred loose.

Anyway, figured out the problem, easy fix, but took an hour. Gave the guy $80 and he was a happy camper, so am I.

Glad you got it all figured out, Furlow. Modifications often create problems.

Now you can flick that weight off your shoulders and move on.
