Hi guys. I need some help identifying a part. I was changing the spark plugs on my 2009 G37 sedan. I was having a hard time getting the right side air duct off. As I was wiggling it around this part popped off. What is the name of this part. Do I need to replace it or does it just pop back on. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

 

thats the nipple for the pcv breather hose. it looks like comes attached with the entire valve cover meaning its not sold separately. if i were you u can clean off the surface of the valve cover and the nipple real good and then use jb weld to fuse it back together. don't run the car for a day and let it dry and seal before attaching the breather hose back on.

 

Thanks for the response. That's exactly what I did. I cleaned it off real well and used JB weld to put it back together. It worked perfectly.
