An odd hole on the OEM muffler.

An odd hole on the OEM muffler.

Since the paint is falling off, I added some black exhausted spray paint to my muffler. While spraying, I notice this hole, on the passenger side muffler. Here is a dumb question, is that normal?

Generally speaking, the only holes a muffler should have is the inlet(s) and outlet(s). Kinda looks like someone took a can opener to it.

That was the same thing I said to myself, can opener. Seems like its been like that for some time.


I'm going to assume this damage happen 2yrs ago when my rear sway bar and end links were install. Possibly damage from a hammer.
