New owner 2011 Infiniti G37S Sedan
I can fit it, I just don't know if I want to deal with it in there. I will check the injen one, I would like to find one with heat shields, filters and whatever it needs to connect for say 200. Then I would probably get the silicone intake runners, the look, durability and lack of heat soak would be great. I could then put the factory ones in a plastic bad, in case I ever need it.
Those are staggered Sport Rims, 18x7.5" front and 18x8.5" rear. They come with the RWD Sport Package (and the 6MT). You'll probably see people calling them "duckfeet" here on the forum. If you come across that phrase, that's what it means.
LOL. Welcome to the forum.

"This owner", hahaha Thanks for nothing, qmantran.
Yeah, that shade is a perfect fit.
OP, if you're looking for a first-mod priority, I very highly recommend you invest in a set of aftermarket swaybars, instead of looking for a new intake system. But if you've got a hard-on for an intake, then talk yourself into the Takeda or Stillen Gen3.
And no, I don't have either, I have the R2C. But I had engine-bling priorities, and was planning on upgrading when I reached my mid-point in total ownership... which is coming up, actually.

I drove a IS350 with the F-Sport Sways, it was a nice improvement.
I haven't really had an issue as of yet with handling. The ride is stiff, probably too stiff. The Steering is too sensitive most of the time. The sways on the F-sport are very reasonable at 175 each. I don't believe I have looked into the Sways on the G37. As I mentioned, I don't really want to remove the bumper. I have seen it done on youtube. I believe that at least one of the cold air, has the anti-seize valve. Obviously the cold air would probably have a bit more air flow. I would imagine that any cold air coming would be heated by the warm aluminum in the engine bay compared to the factory rubber or hard silicone.

That's another aspect of the RWD Sport Package. The steering ratio on the non-Sport (and AWD) is 16.4:1, whereas the steering ratio on the RWD Sport is 14.7:1. It's a little known feature, but a noticeable one if you drive the two cars back to back.
- Sport Steering
- Sport-tuned shocks
- Staggered 18" Wheels
- Summer-only tires
- Limited Slip Diff
- Big-brake kit
- Flappy paddles (or 6MT)
And that's it. Everything else that's in the Sport Package is appearance-only... like the seats, side-sills, headlights and bumper.
Oh, and the 6MT also has shorter rear gears in the diff than the identical car with with a slushbox, regardless of model... except for the 6MT Vert, which are shorter still, but w/o VLSD for some weird reason. Don't know why that is.

Rochester, the inflatable side bolsters on the driver's side are specific to the G37S too, correct? That is a great performance feature for track days or twisty roads. If only the seats were not so damn heavy for us track guys. lol
You know, there's not as much love for OEM Infiniti Sort Seats on the Sedan as I think they deserve. They're very supportive, and reasonably comfortable. That said, dunno if I can say the same specific to their material quality. I keep my leather well maintained, IMO, and yet I've got surface damage in the center drivers side panel. P1sses me off.
Yeah, but that's part & parcel to having the Sport Seats.

I am torn between trying to get sportier cloth seats that are a lot lighter or getting custom suede inserts for the stock seats and keeping them. I probably do not track the car enough to justify the weight savings of racing seats, but combined with 2pc. rotors I could easily shave off well over 100lbs. from the car. That is significant for when I do track it.
The mustang was a V6, they look a lot like the V8s these days. I like to have more power than I need. I don't have to prove anything. It is more fun to just romp from time to time. I am trying to keep averaging 20 mpg.
