Relax, man. Just PM Liam for answers.

It does look good. Real good... I've seen it in person. However, as often happens with stuff like this, it's not 100%, so temper your expectations.

Anyway, I bought this 2008 G in March, 40k miles, fantastic car. I didn't like the chrome spoiler on it. My eye kept going to it, going to it, going to it, so I had it removed, prepped and repainted with the body color. Now I can appreciate the way the car looks. Much better.

That looks really good. Nice work.

Noted!! Almost clicked "buy" option on Ebay - All I can find is a carbon fiber lip - The only option they have - I would hate to paint a CF but if that's what it takes then that's whats gonna happen

I wonder if when people see that, they think it's OK to bump?

Swear, if I lived somewhere with on-street parking, I'd own a beater (with a kick-azz suspension and engine).

Oh, I don't blame you at all. I'd do the same if i lived in the city. Has it saved you from any damage yet?

its the oem deck spoiler, and yeah they paint it for you. You just give them your color code it was about 300 with paint and shipping.

Lots of times i recommend it if you live it the city or have to find street parking. I was driving with it and a guy crashed into me at like 5 mph and nothing happened to my car

Nothing that you can see. But there's material behind the bumper skin which was likely crushed when absorbing the impact, which in turn compromises the ability to deal with subsequent impacts.

At least, that's how I understand how bumpers work. You're probably fine. Odds are, if the paint on the bumper skin isn't fractured, and you don't see any deformations, the impact wasn't deep enough to really make a difference.

We used one on the 750il I used to drive in NYC when I did protection work. Kept the paint pretty at least.
