Driver side view mirror does not adjust

Teh driver side view mirror will not adjust. Manual adjustment and memory seat adjustment do not work. You can see the mirror trying to move but it doesn't. passenger side works fine. Any clues on how to fix?

Could be a number of things I was initially thinking a fuse but you said that the mirror moves slightly(?)

Try moving the mirror by hand , it may not be set goon on the actuator assembly. Make sure first there is nothing behind it obstructing its movement.
Could also be bad switches (happens sometimes with excessive heat)

I was able to move it manually but still no luck. Don't think it is the switch as the passenger side works and when I move the switch to driver side the mirror tries to move. How do you replace the actuator assembly. Infiniti wants $725 to replace the entire mirror and actuator. That is crazy.

FWIW I'm having a similar issue with the passenger side mirror on my 2010. It will move left-right but it's intermittent for up-down. The switch is working because the driver side works fine and I can hear the passenger mirror clicking when I move the switch in any direction. I have the Elite extended warranty and am taking the car down to Scottsdale on Thursday to get it looked over. I'll let you know how it works out.

Kudos to dealer

For anyone following this minor issue, I drove my car down to Infiniti of Scottsdale this morning. In full disclosure, that's the dealer from whom I purchased the car and Elite extended warranty six years ago. I explained to the service agent that the outside passenger mirror has been wonky (engineering term there) for about a month and would adjust left-right but occasionally would freeze in the up-down direction. The problem was somewhat random but seemed to be correlated with hot weather (abundant here in Arizona). Since the extended warranty is going to run out in about six months and mirror repairs seem to be getting rather expensive, I wanted to make sure this was corrected before then. I was a bit apprehensive as the mirror seemed to be working normally when I left the house for the 1.5 hour drive to Scottsdale. I dropped the car off at the dealer and they gave me a loaner (Q50 with leather and nav) and told me to go home and they would check it out. Well, they called me a little while ago and said that BOTH of the outside mirrors were bad and they were replacing both mirror motors under the extended warranty. They even had two motors in stock!!! Car should be ready tomorrow afternoon. Color me impressed.
