Goodbye G37, Hello Camaro SS!

Well I have moved on from my G37x and into a 2016 Camaro SS. I sold the G to my parents so it will still be in the family.

So far I love everything about this car. Having 455hp/455tq is a big difference from the G's power. I really like what GM did with this year. Such a big upgrade over the earlier models.

I plan on doing some visual mods and a few suspension mods to tighten everything up. Also plan on lowering it once some coilovers are released for it.

Thanks for everyone here and your guys help. I know I was mainly a lurker but all your guys DIY posts and many other posts were extremely helpful. I'll probably still stop by every once in awhile to see what's going on.

Anyways here's a few pics.

Perfect color choice. This or white are the only good options. I test drove a 15 ss auto and thought the G was a better value. Hope the new 16 serves you well.

I like the subtle visual differences GM made to the "new" Camaro. Details on what packages you got?

Yea got the 2SS with black interior. Dual-mode exhaust. Didn't get Magnetic Ride Control because figured it wouldn't be worth it to me.

Excellent color choice on that beast of a car. I've heard nothing but good reviews on it so far.

Saw a Black 16 SS last week, the changes made are all in the win column IMO, the front looks much more aggressive and the side has a sleeker shape. And the ATS-V underpinnings are really supposed to take this Camaro to another level from all I've been reading.
Nice color you scored, but the Black SS also looked badas$

Enjoy that ride!

Is that a 6mt? Thoughts on the clutch feel? Is visibility as improved as they claim?

I've been keeping this car on my radar too, along with the ats-v. Someday!!!

Enjoy.
