So i ended up re visiting the Infiniti dealer and they had me take the car to another body shop, in doing so, they ended up replacing the hood, hinges, latches and they said that the "cowl" of the hood was sitting too high causing the flex/ripple in the hood. Apparently there was something that was able to adjust the height of the cowl, it's visually noticeable from the drivers seat.

Needless to say, the hood no longer flexes. The explanation in the end to me is the first body shop missed installing some parts, and adjusting the hood properly. In the end its FINALLY fixed! on to the mods next..

 

Ah, satisfaction.

 

I checked mine on the highway this morning and it flexes a bit at about 75-80... a 2103 G37x....
