New (to me) G37 Owner, few questions.
Just picked this up, 2013 w/ 21000 miles. $20,000! Love this car!
Few things to address. Rear tires are shot, previous owner never rotated. Not sure I want to spend the $$$ for Dunlops that are on it. Any input on tires? I live in South FL so no need for all season.
Im having trouble linking my ipod up. Car reads the info on it, then starts flipping out, saying not reading USB device then No USB device found. Its an old school 4th generation click wheel so that may be issue.
Also contemplating getting an extended warranty due to all the electrical stuff on this car. Thoughts?
Also, what wheel locks are recommend for stock rims??

Welcome not sure about the IPOD thingy, The tires I wouldn't spend the $$ on Dunlops, I like Cooper RSA's I run them on mine in the summer, Glad Infiniti went back to the 08 sport wheels my favorite stock wheels

LOL...These rims are NOT staggered. 225/50 18s front and rear. Surprised they would put old rims on a brand new car? it's a 2013. And Im pretty sure it was a lease. They all have Dunlop Sport Maxx right now.
But at least they are a very nice looking OEM wheel IMO.If you're running 225s then you have the 18x7.5 wheels which locks you in to no larger than a 235/50 or 235/45 size. See if they make Bridgestone SO-4 pole position, BFG SportComp2, Continental DW in either of those sizes, all of those would be a huge upgrade over your current set. If you have a bigger budget the Michelin Pilot Super Sports FTW.
They've had those split spoke 18s on models from 07 through 2013, although quite rare on 2013s. Not sure if it was part of a wheel upgrade pkg or based on region

Now my mind is starting to obsess about coilovers....which needs to stop, Ive spent to much money this month.
Tires = budget. Get what you feel comfortable paying for. Discount tire always runs promo's, check the prices and reviews. Warranties range from 40K miles to over 80K miles.
ipod - Maybe its the ipod and not the car thats messed up

Extended warranty - No. Dont pre-pay for repairs.
Wheel locks - IMO, no. Criminals like rims that will work with any car. I cant imagine there is much demand for factory infiniti wheels to risk life over.
Windows - Tint, yes.
LEDs - Yes, I just made a post linking a kit from Amazon for about $8. This is a must.

I had an HTC phone when I bought my car and the dealer had it connected within 30 seconds. I can't get my new LG to connect nor have I been able to get my iPad connected with Bluetooth. Don't know if it's a Bluetooth issue or a user issue.
I know there are adapters to physically connect an Apple product to a radio input but it requires digging behind the radio chassis. I just use the USB connector in the center console with a 4 GB thumb drive.
I wish I could get my iPad to connect because I have over four thousand songs on it. There are only a couple of hundred on the thumb drive.

I have these on my X, not s. And they are not staggered FWIW, but they could have made staggered sets which might have been available for the sport. They are 18". When I was doing research when buying initially, I read these were $1200 or so added onto the sticker and were independent of any package, but some clarification of someone who bought them new could likely clear that up. There is a chance they were not available for the sport, as the sport I believe had it's own wheel upgrade that were 19"?
