Thanks! They did let me return them and I have already ordered the correct ones.

I just hope the correct ones get here early enough next week so I can continue with the install.

Got a new garage companion for the G. Considering we started out looking at a Honda Odyssey, I think this is a pretty good outcome

A Range Rover Discovery... that's quite a nice SUV. Do you need seating for seven?

You're the second person to mistake it for a RR

It's a Ford Explorer Sport. My wife wanted the ability to seat 7 since she frequently volunteers for field trips at the kids school.

And here I was, getting ready to make a crack about the RR giving you the relationship with your mechanic that the G just doesn't provide.

Yeah, it's the EcoBoost V6. For a ~5000 pound SUV it moves pretty good. The twin turbos provide a way more usable powerband than our Acura MDX which had all it's power at the top of the RPM range.

It's a Ford, so that crack might still apply

Wow.

And that right there demonstrates my familiarity with the SUV market.

I don't know why Ford doesn't offer the Mustang in the same AWD Ecoboost V6 that they have in the Explorer and Taurus. They obviously already have the technology and ability to offer that package. 365hp/350tq with the ability to tune along with aftermarket support i'm sure their would be a demand for it...

The Explorer Sport at almost 5k pounds that can hit 0-60 in 6 seconds is damn impressive. Drop that AWD TTV6 package in a 3,700lb car like the mustang and it would be a nasty, fun little beast. A much more intriguing option than the Ecoboost4 that they offer now for the Stang.

It's something car enthusiasts are interested in these days and it would put them in a whole new market. But it looks like they're content on the new RS being THAT car and sticking with the line up they have. Just a shame though IMO. I would love to see what a AWD Ecoboost V6 Mustang could do.

Ok, i'll get off my soap box now, sorry...

I'd imagine the floor plan/stamping of the Mustang doesn't support a front axle. The ecoboost V6 would probably eat into 5.0 sales too much, since a simple tune would probably surpass the coyote in power and especially torque.

So clean^^^^, did you paint those R2Cs flat black? I've only seen them in black nickle chrome and regular chrome.
Looks badas$!

Thanks, that's the way they came right out of the box. I believe they are powder coated satin black. Once again, a quick and easy install. This car is so much easier to work on compared to my X. No knuckle dings and so much more room to work.

That matte blackR2C is such a perfect match for a OEM engine bay, Every time I see one I want it. You're really getting the G looking good quickly 1K2go. I really like what you've done so far....

1K2go that looks really good, nice and clean and not overly blingy.
