Assuming the battery is original, it may need to be replaced.
It seems the average battery life is 3-4 years for the G37s.

 

My 2009 G37 XS sedan had problems with the battery in 2011 when it didn't hold a charge or even take a charge when driving for a fairly long ride. I finally took it back to the dealer I bought it from and they dicided there was a problem with the battery itself. They replaced it with a larger battery with 770 CCA that is normally used in a different model Infiniti. I haven't had a problem since. I also reolize it's life span is coming to an end age wise and m going to be looking for a manufacturer who makes batteries in the 770 CCA power range to replace it with,Interstate makes a battery in this power range I believe.
