Time to end this forum thread

The G37 has been obsolete for several years. It is no longer manufactured and it's time to end this forum. My 2011 G is 5 years old. It's an old car.
It's time to move on and consider what next to buy.

The G is still a great car, it's why i purchased one. I'll have mine paid off in about 2 more years and i'll continue to keep it. I won't be trading it in. When i get the title in hand i'll then consider what exactly my next car will be. Things i do know is it will be a V8 coupe and it will be a manual.

Which of the big three... Chevy Camaro, Ford Mustang GT, or the Dodge Challenger 392 it will be i won't know till the time comes. I'll be test driving all three. I've already driven the Camaro, though it was a Z/28 and it will be out of my price range unless i hit the lottery, and the Mustang GT Performance package and loved them both. I'm very interested in what the 392 brings to the table. The power is definitely there but the car weighs over 4k pounds so not sure what to expect as far as handling.

Anywho, have you considered what you will be looking at next since you no longer want your G?

I guess I should also stop my subscription to tr4.org too! My 2007 4Runner must be a antique! These forums are an endless source of information, and ways for people to get together and solve problems about that particular car! I hope this forum doesn't stop!

I currently have a 2008 Infiniti EX35 AWD with 83k miles and I am the original owner.
Also, I am leasing a 2015 Q40 AWD and still has 30 months more to go on the lease.

I like the Q40 power (Visconti tuned Ecutek) than my EX35, It's a night & day difference when it comes to acceleration. The Q40 aka G37 has enough acceleration for normal work/home routine drive everyday. I find it very controllable even if you get to aggressive on the gas pedal.

I still need a bit more power or acceleration though, so my next car I believe will be a V8. I believe the V8 is too much of a car for DD, since most roads here have a speed limit of 35-45 miles per hour only. It does not really very practical to use for DD since it will only take 4-5 secs to 60 MPH on a 35-45 MPH speed limit which is basically asking for trouble plus 0-30/45 will take 2-3 secs which is not long enough.... LOL!

Or maybe a I6/V6 twin turbo option?

A car will last as long as you keep up the maintenance. My 95 Impala SS had a 127,000 plus miles on her and she was still going strong when I sold her. My next ride will be another sedan V8 in the near future.

There's a boatload of G's out there which people are buying, selling, modding, and maintaining all the time, and a lot of them want the kind of information that can be found here - ending the forum makes no sense whatsoever.

To the OP, just unsubscribe from all your subscriptions, logout and the forum will have ended for you.

I'm sure this forum will be around for along time to come. Look at the g35/350z site(s), they're still going strong.

First of all, thanks for your insightful input.

I bought my 2013 G37x six months ago. To me, it's still a new car.

More fun to drive a slow car fast compared to driving a fast car slow.

LOL

Guys, he's just trolling you for the fun of it. Nobody would create a thread this demonstrably stupid and actually be serious. Moderators should just delete and ban trolls. It's really that simple.

Here, this is another lame trolling thread created by forrmark... see the pattern? https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...your-cars.html

My 2011 G is also 5 years old, but with only 28K miles and a year-over-year plan for modifications, it looks and drives better than the day it was new. The only thing old about it are the songs in my music box.
