how do you like the tanabe axle back?

 

I've had them on for around 500-600 miles. Look great on the car, way better than the stock mufflers! They are slightly louder than stock in my opinion with a lower note. Didn't really notice much sound difference until you get into the higher RPM's 4K and above.
I like them for appearance reasons, in the future I may put on FI RHFC's to get more sound.

I'm in the Des Moines Area, so let me know if you'd like to meet up to hear them. Cellphone video's are terrible to get a true exhaust sound.

I personally don't like Tanabe. If you are looking for something that might sound at least little louder than the way a coupe does, Tanabe won't satisfy you.

 

I think the tint looks great. Usually I don't care for two different percentages, but yours is close enough that you suspect they might be different, but it's hard to be sure. I think it's a good look, and you get additional sun shielding for the folks in the back.

 

Hey guys, I don't mean to hijack your thread, but what do you think about tinting the front windshield with like 45-50% when I have 30-35% all around? It is a little to bright for me atm.

 

70-80% is the darkest I would tint the front windshield there is tint made just for that purpose

The tanabe axle back exhaust really does sound good and is not too loud by themselves. They get a lot louder above 3k RPM with HFCs. For me that setup is perfect.

 

This is with 35 all around and 50 on the windshield. And like gs07 said they have a tint that's colorless but provides great heat rejection called air 80.

 

It’s an old story, but if you’re going to tint your front windshield 50% or more, I would recommend the following:

• Never drive at night.
• Make sure you have insurance with no deductibles.
• If you own other property, write a will now.
• Keep your attorney’s number handy.
