G37x weight

EDIT
12-31-2015
So I went to the landfill and weighed my car.

3940 with me in it.
Lol worst part is that's my car on super e with gas.
4040 added 17 gallons then weighed mostly stock at the time

Oct 2017
Car weighed 3720 with half tank of gas (3770 full tank)
This is full bolt on, all suspension mods, etc. Basically anything to save weight has been done.

Only real weight savings that is left is new seats and rear driveshaft. Not getting rid of my optima for the lightweight style battery, not sure it’s worth the reward.

Damn, that's pretty heavy. awd doesn't do the g any favors in the weight department.

Don't mean to be rude, but did this require its own thread? I think we were all aware the X sedan is heavy.

Adds ~200 pounds, not a huge amount but definitely noticeable.

Time to put your car on a diet. You got junk in the trunk? Got a spare tire? Oh, never mind... you're only 175lbs!!

It's because your EX has slower gearing.

Anybody else weighted their g? Just curious what a heavily modded g37s weighs . Weighed my fbo G37x . 3720 half tank of gas. Only the car weight, I stepped off the scale. Still really heavy lol but honestly not bad compared to some awd automatic sedans. It’s a fun little car, wish I could drop another 100 lbs without loosing any features. Might look into some new seats. Holds around 100lbs in fuel (The most I’ve been able to get 18 gallons in my g). So weighs 3770 or so with full tank of gas. What a pig lol
